With her brush stroke as brilliant as can be, she created masterpieces
And immersed her life into stardom with a start

A figure in major American art since the 1920s
Bringing forth an array of designs like
Blue-Green Music and Ram's Head White Hollyhock and Little Hills
All it took was her creative energy and a pencil

Her whimsical paintings and ideas brought out what she saw in her mind and felt in her heart
The world surrounded her taking her to many different places
Although she would travel around the world
Georgia always returned to the privacy of her New Mexico home.

Georgia O'Keeffe was an American original
Living as she chose
Painting what she wanted
It is said that her art is uniquely American, shining with a bright modernism and energy.

Put into the the national women’s hall of fame in 1993
Her name is Georgia Totto O’Keefe
