Genius filmmaker
Spoke to the viewers hearts
Always the groundbreaker
With reviews off the charts

Unafraid to tackle tough issues
As he explored the human condition
Brought most to use tissues
Much like a great musician

Although ultra reclusive
His films quite alarming
Most viewed them as very exclusive
While others quite charming

With Kubrick now gone
Will films ever be the same
Please excuse me as I’m about to yawn
Oh, what a shame
